My ministry,music and sound is inspired by these 3 scriptures
Psalm 30:5 …but joy [cometh] in the morning.
1Peter 1:11 …the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you…
We encourage christians to have godly fun and enjoy a more exciting life in the holy ghost in sincere gratitude,true Joy ,unapoligetic praise and unreserved worship to God.
My sound is loaded with the reality of Eternal life.
It’s a full expression of what a Christian life should really be; A life of Glory and endless celebration.
About Merry1
Merry1 (real name Senge Olumuyiwa Samuel) is an Afrogospel artist, singer-songwriter, music minister, and sound influencer who hails from Osun State, Nigeria. He is the originator of a genre he calls ‘Afro super sound’ fondly called (Afro Super) – supernatural afrobeats
While schooling on campus, Merry1 was part of a music group called the Big Time Potentialz (B.T.P). He later left the group after his encounter with Christ and diverted the same talent and energy to the gospel. He has ever since been on fire for God, serving in church, and as a member of the Believers’ loveworld inc (Christ Embassy).
Formerly known with the stage name ‘Sam Happy’, He kick-started his musical career professionally in 2015 with the release of his debut “You Alone,” followed by his second release in 2017 titled ‘Omemma’ prod by award-winning producer SMJ.
In 2022, He re-branded as “Merry1” and with the release of a brand new single “For You,” the first taste from his upcoming Debut EP titled ‘Thank You’ which is out now and available on all music platforms worldwide
